Trusted Project Managers was founded by David R. Smith - a twenty year veteran in the Information Technology consulting and Human Capital field in Canada.

Previously, as VP Professional Services at Xycorp Inc, David built the professional services group to a complement of 150 professional services consultants and staff over twelve years. As the executive responsible for excellence in service delivery, his success was measured by Xycorp's portfolio of clients spanning; the Canadian Public Sector; Fortune 1000 companies; the Financial sector, including Canada's largest banks and Insurance companies as well as the world's leading global integration technology solutions vendor.

Prior to the sale of Xycorp in 2002 by the principals, David left to pursue developing a premier consulting practice in Project Management for the Americas and Caribbean region. Trusted Project Managers was created in 2004 as a result of this effort.

As CEO of Trusted Project Managers, David is a strong believer in the value of excellence in service delivery; and in particular, "project execution demands best-practices and leadership in Project Management".
